Great news, PolicyPlan further enhance both their CourierPremier and TaxiPremier products:

1. Updates and changes to PolicyPlan’s CourierPremier

The following enhancements have been made to PolicyPlan’s CourierPremier product to further widen their underwriting footprint on this market-leading product:

  • All policyholders, partners, directors (whether driving or not) MUST be declared and meet the relevant acceptance criteria.
  • Policyholders, including directors/business partners who may drive MUST be named (including “any driver” risks).

Drivers who PolicyPlan will now accept:

  • Full or part-time drivers NOT engaged in an unacceptable trade or business (see below).
  • ALL drivers (including the policyholder/spouse) requiring SDP use MUST be named (including “any driver” risks).
  • NB named drivers will be required to meet the additional occupation/business acceptance criteria held in the quote system.
  • Drivers who have been permanently resident in the UK for at least three consecutive years.

Other Changes

  • Household/Office removals (excluding waste disposal/site clearance). An additional £500 excess will apply to claims resulting from removals work. NB cover does not extend to the GIT section.
  • Cover for deliveries to EU/EEA countries restricted to a maximum of 30 days any one trip. NB cover does not extend to the GIT section.
  • Maximum vehicle value for comprehensive cover increased to £35,000.
