We offer Personal Household, Motor and Travel policies and various commercial offerings to suit a wide range of industries.
How do you generate new business enquiries?
Almost our entire customer base has been and continues to be achieved through word of mouth. In many cases, multiple generations from one family holding all their insurances with us has ensured great loyalty and high quality referrals.
What do you foresee as the biggest challenge to your brokerage at the moment?
Going forward our biggest challenge is to manage the way we continue to expand the business without compromising the service level we expect our customers to receive. Naturally, this involves constant innovation with both the way we handle our clients and the procedures behind the scenes. Both myself and the management team are looking at ways to increase efficiencies throughout the business so we can capitalise on the commercial markets currently crying out for broker experience and support.
How do you plan to grow in the coming year?
We are extremely excited by the opportunities that are out there at the moment, not just for us but for all brokers. I believe many businesses are still desperate for the experience and service a broker can offer and we will - for the first time in a while - look to actively target certain commercial industries to expand our position. Naturally, this will be supported as mentioned by back office improvements and further staff recruitment.
What are your marketing plans this year?
We are in the final stages of a new marketing plan for 2020/2021 which will be putting a focus on building our Commercial book. At the present time we are also rebuilding our website and preparing a specific commercial lines brand to support the needs of these clients better. I am excited that this, along with our current referrals, will see the growth/retention we are looking for.
Which Blink products or services have been most beneficial to your business?
Our relationship with Blink has gone from strength to strength over the years. We have and continue to have great success with many products made available to us. In particular we have created a strong working relationship with Abacus who we always find very helpful and most importantly available when required.
