In a short sentence, tell us what you do in your current role?

As Director of a relatively new and growing company, I pretty much do whatever is needed on any given day.

Did you choose the insurance profession, or did it choose you?

No, it most definitely chose me. I can’t say that my childhood dream was to work in the insurance industry. Having said that – I’ve been in it for 17 years now so there must be something about it.

What is something that people are obsessed with, but you just don’t get?

TikTok.

What is your biggest frustration with modern technology?

Losing internet signal. Our office Wi-Fi is rubbish and constantly drops out. It drives me insane.

What do you do when you’re not working?

I’m always working!! To be honest, most of my spare time is currently taken up looking after my one year old daughter and playing the Nintendo Switch with my six year old son.

What was the last book you read, or movie/box set you watched?

The Empty Chair by Jeffery Deaver – it’s a pretty old one but I’m working my way through the “Lincoln Rhyme” series.

Who’s your go-to band or artist when you can’t decide what music to listen to?

Erm I’m quite eclectic when it comes to music, but if pushed I’d probably say Eminem

Past or present, which five guests would you invite to your dream dinner party?

What is on your bucket list?

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for commercial space travel to become a reality – although I’d really need to get saving.
