In a short sentence, tell us what you do in your current role at Sparta?
I look after our relationships with both our insurer and broking partners looking at new opportunities and managing existing ones. Sparta are a small team so we all work together to cover a multitude of roles.
How would your work colleagues describe you in three words?
Hardworking, diligent and always approachable.
What motivates you to work hard?
Family and sense of pride in what I do.
You’re on a work night out at the local karaoke bar…what song are you singing?
Living On A Prayer – Bon Jovi
Where is your dream destination to live when you retire?
North Wales. We have a static caravan in North Wales and have spent the last 15 summers there. The plan is to make the move permanent one day.
If you could offer one piece of advice to someone just starting out in the industry, what would it be?
If you say you are going to do something, do it. Always act with honesty and integrity.
What motivational quote most resonates with you?
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it. Something an old boss always used to remind me.
Finally, why is it a great time for brokers to consider a conversation with Sparta?

We are happy to work with brokers on bespoke products, there is nothing Sparta will not consider. Sparta products give brokers an additional revenue stream in a tough market.
