The festive season is upon us. As the air fills with the sweet scent of cinnamon, BlinkIS invites you on a journey through the culinary wonderland of our most cherished Christmas dinner traditions. Sit back and enjoy a glimpse into how the BlinkIS team indulges over the Christmas period.
Amanda – the turkey, it’s the only thing that I don’t have to cook, my mum brings that around whilst I slave over everything else!
Georgia – I bloody love the stuffing! My preference is when they are presented as crispy balls with a soft middle.
Amit - I am a sucker for a good cheese board which I only usually have once a year at Christmas! I especially like the Mexican chilli cheese with a good glass of red wine of course.
Nicky – I am going with a cherry-laden Christmas pudding with oozy brandy butter, I have never attempted to set it alight, but there is a first time for everything, watch this space!
Zoe - The champagne!
Bill – A slice of homemade Christmas cake courtesy of my granddaughter and my own fair hands...to complement it, a glass of red!
Steve H - It has to be with all the trimmings. Washed down with a bottle of anything red. Must have brussels sprouts and bread sauce.
Steve P - for me, it would be the Rib of Beef. Placed on a bed of vegetables, positioned with the fat on the top so all of the flavour runs through the meat. Served with gravy made out of all the succulent juices from the meat and the vegetables.
Sally - I can’t choose between chestnut stuffing and bread sauce – the perfect accompaniments to a Christmas turkey dinner.
